Cut out all the pattern pieces as specified - note that all patterns have a half inch seam allowance already in them. |
Sew the two beak pieces together - turn right side out. |
Sew the two black tail feathers together - turn right side out. |
Stitch the belly pieces onto two bird body pieces like shown. When the bird's body pieces are all sewn together this will create the creme under belly. |
Stitch the two feathers together and turn right side out. |
Put two body pieces together. Put the black feather sandwiched between in the middle. |
This is how it looks turned right side out. |
Stitch the two body pieces that have the belly sewn on together. |
Place the eye mask on the body half that has the belly. Pin and sew. |
Add the eyes and sew. |
Pin the two body pieces together in a circle and sew together. Make sure to leave an opening to turn the bird right side out. |
Pin the beak on and hand stitch |
Stuff, stitch the back closed and you are done! |
