My first blog post on my first blog. I thought it would be beneficial to create a place where I can post my creative thoughts and crafts that I have created.
I craft and sew costumes, toys, plush, clothes and gifts. I taught myself how to sew about 2-3 year ago. Shortly after I decided that I liked things I sewed better than things I bought and that is how "Handmade Holidays" got started.
When I first started out sewing, I bought a machine and watched videos on how to use it. I looked through the internet and found the crafting blog world and was awed by the ideas!
